Claire J. Stratton

Claire J. Stratton focuses her practice in the areas of Hospitality Law, Business Law, Labor and Employment Law, Real Estate Law, Administrative Law, Estate Law and Litigation.
Ms. Stratton grew up in East Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a dual bachelor degree in both English and Sociology. During college, Ms. Stratton volunteered for the non-profit Texas 4000, which raises money for cancer research by hosting an annual bike ride from Austin, TX to Anchorage, AK.
Ms. Stratton found her way to the Capital Region by attending Albany Law School. There, she served as Student Body President and Editor-in-Chief of the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology, while representing the school as a student ambassador. Ms. Stratton also competed in a plethora of mock trial competitions and was a finalist in the Donna Jo Morse Client Counseling competition. While in law school, Ms. Stratton worked as an intern clerk for the Nassau Criminal Court System and the Northern District of New York.
Ms. Stratton serves as a Law Clerk at The Towne Law Firm (TLF), allowing her to gain invaluable experience and knowledge across almost all service areas that the firm practices.
Ms. Stratton has resided all over the country but is excited to settle down in the Capital Region. Along with her love of animals, Ms. Stratton enjoys traveling, playing tennis and pickleball, swimming laps, biking, and cooking.
Claire J. Stratton is a Law Clerk at TLF, pending her admittance to the NYS bar in 2024.
