Making a Difference: TLF’s Volunteer Work at Camp Good Days

May 22, 2023

ALBANY, NY | At TLF, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting causes that align with our values. Last week, our team had the privilege of volunteering at Camp Good Days, a remarkable organization that provides memorable experiences for children and families affected by cancer. Located at their Branchport site, we joined forces to clean up the grounds and prepare for the upcoming season!

Camp Good Days, a non-profit organization has been a beacon of hope for children, adults, and families dealing with cancer. Through their various programs, they offer recreational and therapeutic activities – fostering a supportive community that helps participants cope with the challenges of cancer and its aftermath.

With the firm’s large footprint in the hospitality industry where it relates to hospitality law, we work closely with numerous campground clients and understand the importance of providing safe, enjoyable, and well-maintained environments for campers, as well as fostering a sense of community and connection. Supporting Camp Good Days, which shares the same industry, is a natural extension of our commitment to the well-being of campers and families.

Throughout the day, we were inspired by the stories shared by camp staff, who emphasized the tremendous impact that Camp Good Days has on the lives of those it serves. Witnessing firsthand the dedication of the organization’s staff and volunteers further strengthened our resolve to support this worthy cause.

We encourage everyone to explore the remarkable work of Camp Good Days and consider getting involved or supporting this exceptional organization. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those facing the challenges of cancer and create a better, more compassionate world for all.
