Shalini’s expertise extends to structuring subsidiary entities strategically to maximize tax advantages while minimizing liabilities. Additionally, she adeptly manages tax aspects in large commercial real estate transactions, ensuring clients make informed decisions during purchases, sales, rentals, leases, and bank dealings.
Mr. Towne has valuable experience in the area of tax law including counseling individuals and business in all areas of federal, state, and local taxation. He assists clients with the preparation of federal and state tax returns, tax planning, and estate and trust taxes. He has handled matters before the Unites States Tax Court on issues such as IRS challenges regarding the disallowance of deductions premised upon the application of IRC Sec. 183 Hobby Loss rules applicable to the racing industry.
Attorney Michael J. Hannah also practices as a Certified Public Accountant. For nearly twenty years, he was a Certified Valuation Analyst in which he operated as a separate business from his law and accounting practices. Throughout his career, Mr. Hannah practiced law at several area law firms and CPA firms, and for over 30 years was a principal of the accounting firm of Woodka, Hannah and Associates in Latham.
