We are currently seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience, including commercial litigation matters, to fill an immediate position in our Albany, New York office.
Signing Bonus Potential.
Responsibilities:
Handle a wide range of complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions.
Attend hearings and trials, attend pre-trial conferences on State and Federal Court matters.
Retain expert witnesses and develop trial strategies.
Provide guidance and counsel to clients.
Negotiate and settle cases.
Independently manage a caseload.
Document all legal action and communication on case files through firm software.
Qualifications:
Admitted to practice in the State of New York and Northern District of New York required, other jurisdictions a plus.
At least 5 years of legal experience.
