TLF Welcomes New Senior Attorney to the Litigation Team, Douglas J. Goglia

ALBANY, NY | The Towne Law Firm P.C is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, Douglas J. Goglia, who joins the TLF team as a Senior Attorney. With a diverse background and a wealth of experience in a range of legal disciplines, Mr. Goglia brings a unique set of skills to our litigation team.

Mr. Goglia’s legal focus spans an impressive array of areas, including Litigation, Business Law, Constitutional Law, Civil Rights Law, Labor and Employment Law, Administrative Law, Election Law, Media Law, Antitrust Law, Trademark and Copyright Law, and Whistleblower Law.

A graduate of the University of Vermont, Mr. Goglia’s journey to the legal profession was preceded by years spent in Colorado, where he immersed himself in the outdoor sports industries. His legal journey continued at Albany Law School, where he not only earned his J.D. with honors but also served as an editor of the Albany Law Review.

Mr. Goglia’s professional journey took root in the bustling litigation departments of prominent New York City law firms. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to antitrust enforcement with the Federal Trade Commission, played a crucial role in election law enforcement with the New York State Board of Elections’ Bureau of Election Law Enforcement, and served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the New York State Attorney General. His responsibilities in the latter position included handling complex litigation and regularly taking cases to verdict.

In his most recent role as Deputy General Counsel to the New York Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, Mr. Goglia managed agency litigation, prepared regulations related to homelessness and shelters, and served as the agency’s Freedom of Information Law director.

Now, as a Senior Associate at our firm, Mr. Goglia is poised to enhance our litigation team with his wealth of experience, diverse skill set, and unwavering commitment to legal excellence.
