Albany County Bar Foundation’s Annual Law Day 5K

ALBANY, NY | The Law Day 5K is an annual event hosted by the Albany County Bar Association, which raises funds for the Albany County Bar Foundation’s grant program. The event has been running for 29 years and this year there will be a post-race party at Albany Pump Station. Participants can register as individuals or as teams of four or more, with the first 200 registrants guaranteed a t-shirt. There is a general registration fee of $35. Students can register for $20, while children under 12 can register on location for $1. The Towne Law Firm is a proud sponsor of the event.

WHERE: Corning Preserve in downtown Albany

President of the Albany County Bar Foundation and TLF Partner, Shali Natesan was recently featured in the ABA Journal where she was interviewed on the Foundation’s initiatives for holding the event. She said, “We use this run as a networking opportunity and to connect with fellow lawyers in the community and their families, but we’re also doing it for a good cause.” The Law Day 5k already has more than 250 participants registered for the event and there is anticipation of raising up to $20,000 for local charities including, The Legal Project, St. Catherine’s Center for Children, In Our Own Voices, and Equinox.
