TLF Team Gives Back: Volunteering for Kids With Packs

ALBANY, NY | Last week, the TLF team had the privilege of volunteering with the Kids with Packs program, a fantastic initiative led by Tri-County United Way and Nemer Motor Group. We joined forces with other local organizations, including the Lions Club of Glens Falls, Charles R. Wood Foundation, Target, and The Hyde Museum, to ensure students in Warren, Washington, and Northern Saratoga Counties have the school supplies they need to succeed.

Our efforts, along with those of our community partners, helped provide fully stocked backpacks to 13 regional academic partners and school districts. Additionally, through the ‘United In Purpose’ initiative, Tri-County United Way is extending support to six more regional schools, specifically addressing the needs of local ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) populations. These households often struggle to afford basic necessities, and this program plays a crucial role in easing that burden. We’re proud to be part of this impactful work, helping to set students up for a successful school year and supporting the families in our community.
