Towne, Ryan & Partners, P.C. Welcomes Samantha V. Vedder

ALBANY, N.Y. (September 21, 2017) – Towne, Ryan & Partners, P.C. is pleased to announce that Samantha V. Vedder, who has served as a law clerk at the Firm since 2015, has joined the Firm as a full time associate.

Ms. Vedder received her J.D. from Albany Law School at Union University in 2017 and her B.A. in Political Science from Hartwick College in 2014. Ms. Vedder sat for the New York State Bar Exam in July 2017.

While attending Albany Law, Ms. Vedder was very active as a mock trial team member and competitor, and received the 2017 Trial Lawyers Association Award for Excellence in Mock Trial. She was also committed to pro bono legal services and served at the Student Director of the Elder Law Pro Bono Project, and received a Pro Bono Honors Award. Additionally, she was a writer and editor for the NYSBA Environmental Lawyer Journal, and a member of the Phi Alpha Delta, Rockfeller Chapter.

Ms. Vedder previously completed legal internships at the Albany Law Clinic & Justice Center, the New York State Liquor Authority, and the Glenville law firm of Gordon, Tepper & DeCoursey, LLP.
