ALBANY, NY | The Towne Law Firm, P.C. is pleased to announce the promotion of Adrian Scantlebury to Partner.

Adrian brings more than 22 years of legal experience to the firm and has been instrumental in strengthening the firm’s insurance defense litigation and personal injury practice. Since joining The Towne Law Firm, he has been a valuable addition to the litigation team, providing thoughtful, practical guidance across a wide range of matters.

Throughout his career, Adrian has handled claims from initial evaluation through resolution, working closely with clients to assess risk, develop strategy, and navigate the litigation process efficiently. His approach reflects a clear understanding of both the legal and operational considerations that come with these types of cases.

In addition to his work in insurance defense and personal injury, Adrian has taken a leading role in the development of the firm’s admiralty practice, an area the firm is actively building. Drawing on his experience with maritime-related legal issues, he is helping to expand the firm’s capabilities in matters involving waterways, marine operations, and related regulatory frameworks.

His recent work has also included matters involving public entities and maritime-related considerations, further supporting the firm’s growth in this emerging area.
