TURNING STONE CASINO, N.Y. – Associate Christine Taylor presented a seminar at the 2019 Campground Owners of New York Exposition, entitled : “How to make a Long Story Legal.” During the presentation Ms. Taylor covered a variety of topics pertinent to campground owners from waivers and premises liability to seasonal licenses and estate planning. Ms.Taylor, having grown up within the campground industry has a unique insight in which her personal experience running a campground helps her identify hot button legal issues that frequently arise when operating a campground.

Ms. Taylor also was a panelist for the ADA Website Lawsuit Panel held at the start of the Exposition, during which she explained the sweeping lawsuits regarding website compliance with Title III of the American with Disabilities Act.  Ms. Taylor has represented multiple clients in their defense against these lawsuits.

Together with website developer Roxi Baxley of Strait Web Solutions, and Sara Emmert, Director of Tourism Policy Initiatives, Division of Tourism of I LOVE NY, Ms. Taylor helped answer questions of the various campground owners in attendance and provide information and solutions regarding how to be compliant, advertise to those with a disability, and how to move forward.
