Michael L. Goldstein Joins as Partner at The Towne Law Firm, P.C.

ALBANY, NY | The Towne Law Firm, P.C. is pleased to announce that Michael Goldstein has joined the firm as a Partner.  Michael comes to the firm after more than a decade as Senior Litigation Counsel for the Albany County Attorney’s Office, where he managed the County’s most complex and high‑exposure litigation matters.

In that role, Michael led the defense of civil rights actions, labor and employment disputes, Article 78 proceedings, negligence claims, and constitutional challenges. He also advised County leadership on risk management, compliance, and policy issues, earning a reputation for strategic judgment and meticulous case management.

At Towne, Michael will continue to focus on complex civil litigation, municipal defense, and matters involving public‑sector entities, while expanding his practice to serve private‑sector clients facing significant disputes.
