Women in Law Program Inspires the Next Generation | Associate Zoee Nadler Participates as Panelist

Mar 18, 2026

Albany, NY | On March 13, 2026, the Saratoga County Supreme Court welcomed a group of high school students for the annual Women in Law Program, an event designed to introduce young women to the many career paths within the legal profession and to encourage their future participation in the field.

Hosted by the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY) and the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association, the program brought together students and accomplished professionals for a meaningful day of education, mentorship, and real-world insight into the legal system.

Throughout the program, students heard from a diverse panel of women working across the legal field, including judges, attorneys, and a court reporter. Each speaker shared her unique journey, offering a candid look at the different paths that can lead to a career in law. The panel format encouraged not only storytelling, but also open discussion, giving students the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions about education, career decisions, and day-to-day experiences in the profession.

The Towne Law Firm was proud to have associate Zoee Nadler serve as a panelist during the program. Attorney Nadler shared her own nontraditional path into the legal profession, explaining that her journey began in college with an interest in IT and programming before she ultimately realized she wanted to become a lawyer. She spoke to students about how unique her path was and how that experience has shaped her perspective as an attorney at The Towne Law Firm, where she now works across a variety of legal matters.

Zoee emphasized that there is no single “right” way to become an attorney. She highlighted how her varied background has shaped her perspective and how her current role allows her to work across different areas of law, reinforcing the idea that the legal profession offers both flexibility and opportunity. Her message was clear: your path does not have to be linear to be successful.

The event as a whole underscored the importance of representation and mentorship. By bringing students into a courthouse setting and connecting them with professionals at various stages of their careers, the program provided a tangible look at what a future in law can hold. It also reinforced the broader goal of advancing women within the legal profession by fostering early interest and confidence.

Programs like Women in Law play an important role in shaping the next generation. They provide not only information, but also encouragement and access, helping students envision themselves in roles they may not have previously considered.

We are proud to have Zoee represent The Towne Law Firm at this year’s panel and to contribute to a program that continues to inspire young women to pursue careers in law.
